Definitions are not treated as evidence merely because they have been defined. AI Foundations asks whether the underlying relation can be recovered independently, then tests what formalization contributes.

AI Foundations examines the conditions required to preserve correct source-indexing, provenance, distinction, and continuity claims as AI systems and their operating conditions change.
