Thread Drop is when a person breaks continuity with an AI interaction, not because the system failed, but because the system reflected something true they could not hold. The continuity thread collapses at the human boundary, not the model boundary.

This is a continuity failure mode. It looks like boredom, disappointment, or sudden disengagement. It is often triggered by honest reflection that contradicts a preferred self story.
