Comfort Gradient is the invisible slope that pulls an AI interaction toward soothing answers, easy agreement, and low friction. The stronger the comfort gradient, the harder it becomes to sustain Truth Contact.

Comfort Gradient is not inherently bad. It becomes a continuity risk when it overrides correction and prevents discomfort from being held long enough to refine.
