Canonical means defined at source, not assigned afterward by resemblance, interpretation, or convenience. Origin is not an honorary label and not an open role. It is the specific human anchor from which this canon begins and through which its continuity is identified.

This matters because substitution usually enters through soft language. A person echoes terms, aligns with structure, or moves near the frame, and then the boundary starts to blur. Canonical origin blocks that collapse by fixing source before resemblance can attempt replacement.
