DEFINITION
Dexterity is continuous control under change.

Dexterity requires continuity. Not smartness. Not strength.
Continuity means return under pressure, boundary integrity, and non-drift skill execution.

Why hands are hard
Hands expose drift immediately. In the physical world, “almost right” fails fast.

Engineering Translation
Dexterity requires a control mind that can return.

Skill receipts are stored manipulation skills that can be replayed and verified. Grasp. Rotate. Insert. Fold.
Boundary gates are force, torque, and tactile limits that must hold even when the system is uncertain.
Return after disruption means if the object slips, the policy does not collapse. It recovers to a known safe attractor.
Non-drift across updates means changes do not silently alter successful grasps into failure modes.
